At least travels in the Netherlands are all in the same situation and the strike has cancelled all trains. I do feel sorry for fans arriving today and trying to find transportation to Barnardus Golf course. Big bummer and not a good day to strike especially being the first time the Netherlands has hosted the Solheim Cup event. It’s always something….gotta have hope they get good alternative plans 🤯
We’re packed and ready for our private journey to Kasteel Steenenburg for the weekend.
Uneventful ride and it’s still raining. The cows making Gouda are happy and it’s so green.
Our hotel is lovely. We’re in listening to music and catching up on The Gentlemen on Netflix. We loved the first season. It’s crazy quirky but fab characters.

Tomorrow we’ll walk the Bernardus Golf Course, check out the shop and hopefully find a few ladies out playing. Then plan our strategies for our Solheim Cup weekend. So excited.
