The magical beauty & serenity of the Jungfrau region warms one’s heart and fills your soul with amazement at every step, every turn of your head. Your eyes and brain try to process it all and the best thing is to just soak it all in and breathe in crystal clear mountain air freshness while enjoying the sound of cow bells echoing across the valley.

Trails everywhere and sometimes you’d meet…

When she pulls over…

Time to head back to the train for a cog track ride down the mountain and never ending views

Tomorrow a big day to the Top of the World Jungfrau at least the highest accessible peak via gondola….hope for perfect weather
We have to add a little story. We’ve mentioned along the way that we barely get our tickets checked. I posted a sign that I saw because the fines are extraordinarily high if you do not have a ticket or the appropriate ticket. When we got on the train first class was full and it was mostly people that were eating on the train which they frown upon. Jeff pointed to one lady who had this huge salad and said I don’t think she should be in first class. When the conductor came by and immediately went to check tickets because all of us were standing in the vestibule, and all of us had first class seats reserved with none available. The conductor, and the lady with the big salad had quite an argument over something. When the conductor came back out, she said that lady did not have a ticket and she paid the price of 90 Swiss Francs ($114 USD) as a fine – that was one expensive salad.
