Terrific business class waiting room lounge. On time departure and we’re facing the same way as the journey 💥. Train travel in Canada is excellent. In business class we get a full meal on our 4 hour ride. Breakfast included coffee with a splash of Baileys, fresh fruit, yogurt with granola, fresh pastry and a smile.
We arrived in Montreal jumped in a cab for a quick ride to the David Hotel. Someone was leaving so we walked into a very dark hallway with a small elevator. Jeff headed right in to the elevator and I was stopped in my tracks by DAVID.
Anywho they let us check in early 💥
We were given a 10 digit door code and room 44. Not only my favorite POTUS, but also my college basketball number.
We unpacked and walked a mile to the IGA store for some groceries & snacks for our busy week in Montreal.
We had a cancellation of our walking tour 🥲 because of the storm coming. We’ll be looking for the Montreal underground city.
Sometimes you just gotta have a Plan B or C and appreciate the little things…
