Kinsale

We’re staying at a lovely farm in Riverstick just outside of Kinsale. The sunrise from our home away from home was breathtaking.

A visit from the locals

Incredible God light

Everywhere you look are massive fuchsia bushes

Our farm has horses, cows, alpacas and a family of Dalmatians. On this beautiful morning, it was time to take a long farm walk and meet the residents of Curragh Farms.

We had a nice chat 🐮
More interested in breakfast

Look who came out to visit, adorable Alpacas just slightly different than llamas. They were curious and kept an eye on me while munching breakfast. Great hair styles too.

She loves you ya ya ya

I’ve never been close up to Dalmatians. Super friendly and they love attention.

My new buddies

Time for a walk around Kinsale, a short drive from the farm. It’s located at the start of the Wild Atlantic Way, Kinsale town is famous for its colourful streetscapes and rich history.

The brilliant colors around town are a sight especially with the perfect skies and sunshine today.

Well behaved women rarely make history 💥

Stopping at Dino’s for fresh fish lunch and it was terrific. Kinsale is known as the foodie capital of Ireland and we saw some proud Michelin stars with no prices on the menus. Usually very expensive and definitely worth it.

Charles Fort

Perfect day in Kinsale. Tomorrow we get to cross off a long long long standing bucket list item, golf at the Old Head Golf Links. Brian and Colin are coming down for the day. I hope we have enough golf balls. Also enough battery for photos all day.

Sooooo excited and the weather prediction looks good and dry with only slight winds.

Feel like it’s Christmas tomorrow ⛳️
