Enrights Everywhere

We’re in County Kerry and Dads family was from the Listowel area. Sally’s digging and has a ton of leads. We took a drive to Tralee for a bit of research at the heritage section of the library.

She might need a much longer visit

After the tips of a few Enright icebergs we walked around & had a nice lunch of soup, goujons and brown bread.

Tralee did have one Elmo drive-by

On the way to Muyvane the roads get a bit narrower and we love the tree tunnels

We made it to Muyvane in search of an Enright Pub

Closed 🙁

But a local walking by said “surely he’s inside, they’re remodeling at the moment.” He knocked on the door and left us to wait for the door to open so we could meet the owner of Enright’s Pub.

He is the 4th generation pub owner, Donal Enright, but not a relation to us. But happy to meet the yanks and invite us into the pub. It’s perfect!

No pints they don’t open till 8pm
Our crest hangs in the hallway

Tonight our cousins took the ride out to have dinner at our place in Ballybunion. Thanks Orla & Norma it was fabulous seeing you, always special to hang with our sweet family. 💗💗
