Day-25 Bergen

After a lovely breakfast we spent the morning walking the colorful streets of Bergen, Norways second largest city. The city has about 300,000 residents and lots of tourists.

We had to say goodbye to our awesome Viking friends. We had a special friendship with Didit (he loved Tony) and we all bonded with the ice cream sweetie

A sunny Saturday brings out everyone. The streets, restaurants, shops and waterways were overflowing with happy people enjoying the sun. Bergen is surrounded by seven mountains and rainfall is ever present, except for today. Again when angels travel, the sun follows. In Bergen “there is never bad weather, just a bad choice of clothing.”

Beautiful city…

Iconic Bergen
At the fish & farmer market we finally found and ate the famous pancakes with sour cream and jam. YUMMY!

We made our way back to the ship to catch our tour bus for a drive around the city. After that we hopped on the Funicular to the top of the mountain. The ride was straight up & the views were incredible.

We stopped for a cocktail
And celebrated our last day together in Norway

Not without a visit to the troll garden

Last night we had to (Wawa) say goodbye to Lori & Greg because they had an early flight back to the states. We had an unbelievable fabulous vacation with our amazing friends. Tomorrow the four of us are on our way on an 8 hour train ride to Oslo. We miss our travel buddies already.
