Today we left Lauterbrunnen and it was pouring. We had a huge storm last night and rolling thunderstorms.
But we’re on the move
Nice ride to Bern we’re definitely back in a big city, the Capitol of Switzerland.
We cancelled our planned boat ride and donned our rain coats and ☔️ off to find lunch. We can’t check in until 3:00. Next block over there’s a lovely row of Cafes.
We scored and knew we should offset our world famous corn dog bomb from yesterday. Yummy
Definitely planning on going totally European eating (sans the corn dogs) when we get home. Need to shop at farmer markets and find good stuff because the flavors explode in your mouth. A promise to ourselves!!!
We have covered so much and still more exploring to do in Switzerland until early September.
The rain isn’t letting up so we’re chilling and enjoying the down time. We’ll explore Bern over the next few days.
