We ended 2025 by visiting our 12th country this year…what a year for JEllens excellent adventures. We’re already planning our getaways for 2026 and 2027, that’s what retirement is all about.
We heard an earful from our UBER driver about the damage our PINO is doing to Canada and especially to the province of Quebec. Tourism is way down and Canadians don’t want to travel to the 🇺🇸. The farmers fear for their crops because they bring in 50,000 hard working migrant farmers from Mexico and the USA is causing havoc with travel and tariffs. Prices here are high for Canadians and the exchange rate doesn’t help them. They supply electrical power to the northeastern states and he said “maybe we should darken the U.S. and turn off NYC’s lights. Yowza 😡
We thought it important to see their beautiful province, have Christmas in Old Quebec and bring in the new year in Montreal, also spending some tourism dollars. Every little bit helps our neighbors and friends to the north. Elbows up 🇨🇦
Today the 🇺🇸 bombed Venezuela and plan to overtake their country and their oil. It’s a horrific act of war and nothing for us to feel good about.
We hope this doesn’t strike additional fear in Canada or Greenland because of the unchecked power grab conducted today.
