We did think twice golfing with the weather prediction of rain and wind and fierce gusts of wind off the Atlantic.
We wanted so much to golf with Brian and Euan at the Cashen Course and if they were game, so were we.
We hit the links around 3:00 with cool temps and winds of 25-30 mph with gusts exceeding 40+.
Time for a scramble best ball works and honestly we make a fabulous team of wind players. We were plus 3 on the front, thanks to Euan’s par three play.
It poured for a few minutes on the 3rd hole but we dressed in our rain clothes and kept them on to battle the wind. Being prepared is key when in Ireland on the links of Ballybunion.
Team awesome finished even on the back. Not back for the windiest day ever on the course for us. Loved our extra special day together.
