We have arrived in our 10th Country and it feels sooooo good. The Flix bus was late picking us up and the couple in our reserved seats wouldn’t give them up and the honey badger was too hot to argue.
We arrived in the Lisboa bus station we grabbed our bags and navigated through a sea of hot tourists & locals. We hopped in a very hot cab with the windows down and no AC, but he was a very sweet man. (I’m sure he was trying to save on gas.). He was chatty and offered some Lisboa advice. Then added excellent life advice that we actually do try to live by. He said it loud & clear

We told him we’re going to Lagos tomorrow and he smiled and said he loved the Algarve and requested we take a dip for him at the big beach, the one in the middle. We promised we would, we said OBRIGADO (thank you) and ADEUS (goodbye). Time to change the Google translator because we are no longer in Spain.
Long day but we’re having a perfect gin and tonic and a bite to eat. Tomorrow FLIX bus to Lagos for a fabulous weeks at Linda & Tony’s place.
Looking forward to a week in one place and getting to know Lagos. Tomorrow we celebrate Jeff’s Birthday. Life is wonderful.
