We left our lovely cottage early this morning. If you ever go to the Loire Valley you must stay in Amboise. Bruno and Gislle were the perfect hosts. The manor has a bunch of rooms and there are 4 cottages. She served us an amazing French breakfast every morning.
My honey is such a good man. He saw a field of sunflowers and found a perfect road to get up close to these beauties facing the morning sun.
On to Belgium 🇧🇪 to return the car and restart our train travel & we had to add some bus travel too. Sometimes you need to improvise
Going through Paris was CRAZY traffic but we made it slowly crawling. We’ll do Paris another time.
We’re close to the train station at the Brussels Airport but didn’t want to drag our bags in the morning. So we checked and there are luggage lockers. That’ll ease our morning plans.
The lockers were FULL – none available.
Alas, sometimes travel angels, total strangers unknowingly give you help. They show up to pick up their luggage and give us the perfect size locker.
